Alison Hennessy

“We recently completed the sale of our home in Sykesville with the professional support of Alison Hennessy. For 38 years we raised our family and enjoyed the property but retirement to the beach made it difficult to maintain the house and it was time to find a new owner. From the onset, Alison used her insight and tact to guide us in preparing the property for sale. Initially, we couldn't see the improvements that were necessary but Alison used facts and experience to guide us to restore the shine to the property and make it appealing to a buyer. There were some discouraging moments, but Alison was always there to pick us up and nudge us forward with humor and a smile. Since we were living 3 hours away, Alison often jumped in to visit the house and be certain it was ready for the latest showing. She was a real cheerleader and it was clear she hit the mark in marketing the house. As it turned out, the buyers were exactly who Alison had described in our first meeting. She was also quite skillful in price negotiations and working with us to move the house through inspection items and into a successful closing. We are grateful that Alison was recommended to us by a relative and we are enthusiastically recommending her to others. When I describe her, I find myself gushing about her intuition, skills, experience, professionalism, tact, leadership and, perhaps most important of all, her relationship building skills. We really felt good about her seeing the transaction through our eyes and trusted her to always hold our best interests first. We're truly grateful for her participating in one of the most expensive and sensitive transactions of our lifetime and thought you should know (although I bet you know already) that she is a tremendous asset to the Long & Foster organization!"
